Hello there,
My name is Efrain, and I am a Project Architect and team member
of the Sunland Group in Austin, TX.
Studioefra LLC is an independent design studio that focuses on the
creation, development, and licensing of new everyday products.
Emphasis is placed on craft, simplicity, and social interaction. All
pieces in one way or another promote interpersonal exchange and derive
directly from an appreciation for the Good Life, Good Eating, Music,
Art, and Life in Stereo.
This is my personal Blog and record of muses, processes, and quirks…
My work and interests derive mostly from living, and traveling around the Americas, Europe, and the planet called Texas.
I do realize a few continents are missing from that equation, but that hasn’t kept me from pursuing new changes in paradigm.
My Background includes a B.F.A. in Design and M.Arch from the University of Texas at Austin, a Masters in Industrial Design
from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan, Italy, several years of professional experience in the US and abroad,
and a series of professional internships in Painting, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, and Real Estate Development.
I am also a Registered Architect, a LEED Accredited Professional, and member of both AIA & IDSA.
